Statistics service says Russia still world’s top oil producer in Nov

MOSCOW, Jan 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s average daily oil production amounted to 10.126 million barrels in November, which allowed it to remain the world’s top oil producer in the month, the Federal State Statistics Service said in a statement on Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia was the second largest oil producer with a result of 9.9 million barrels of oil produced on average per day in the month. The combined daily oil output of OPEC states reached 32.448 million barrels, with Iraq accounting for 4.396 million barrels.

The share of oil exports in Russia’s combined exports grew 0.8% on the year to 235.1 million barrels in January–November 2017, while output fell 0.1% to 500.1 million tonnes.

The average effective export oil price stood at U.S. $409.1 per tonne in November, up 6.9% on the month. The world market price for the Urals oil, Russia’s key export blend, rose 10% on the month to $452.4 per tonne.
